Osoba George

Osoba Omoayo George was born in 1998 in Nigeria, and his artistic journey began at the young age of fifteen. He was first exposed to the world of graffiti, which sparked his interest in the visual arts. As a result, he started personalising items like T-shirts, caps, and sneakers, and this further inspired him to enrol in an advanced art programme.

He pursued his passion for art at the Yaba College of Technology, where he majored in painting and studied various aspects of the visual arts. It was here that he refined his skills and developed a keen eye for detail, which has become a hallmark of his work.

Osoba Omoayo George's artistic legacy centers around his constant exploration of new ways to communicate and express himself through his art. His work is rooted in the natural forms of color, shape, lines, and textures, which he skillfully blends with mediums like oil paint, acrylic paint, and polymer. His work is not only true to its natural state but also looks more dramatic and stylized, reflecting his artistic sensibilities.

One of his core missions is to promote and build self-confidence, elegance and express the beauty of black skin(nature) through his works. His art is a celebration of black culture and beauty, and he uses it as a platform to communicate the richness and diversity of the African experience.

Today, Osoba Omoayo George is an accomplished visual artist whose work has been exhibited in various galleries across Nigeria. He continues to inspire and challenge himself, and his dedication to his craft is an inspiration to aspiring artists everywhere. His passion for art and his commitment to promoting African culture and beauty through his work make him a true trailblazer in the world of visual arts.
