Obilala Vincent Nwankwo (born December 12, 1992, in Lagos, Nigeria, and originally from Anambra State) is a dynamic artist whose work bridges personal reflection and communal narratives. With a higher degree in Fine Art from one of Lagos’ most prestigious institutions, Obilala passionately explores various styles and mediums, focusing on the daily life and activities within his community. His art captures the beauty of existence, serving as both a mirror of past experiences and a vision for the future.

Obilala’s work has been featured in renowned venues such as Black Art in America, Agora Gallery, Artdex, Hamer Gallery, and the Swatch Art Biennial in Italy. His recognition as a Swatch Artist in 2022 underscores his significant contributions to contemporary art, highlighting his ability to bring concepts and ideas to life through his creative journey.
