"My work is a profound exploration of abstract visionism, characterized by an intuitive and spontaneous artistic process that channels my subconscious onto the canvas. I employ a rich tapestry of colors, shapes, lines, and textures to construct a visual language that resonates deeply with the viewer's emotions and senses. Rooted in my personal experiences and the surrounding world, my creations invite a journey of self-discovery and contemplation, transcending the physical to touch the metaphysical. My paintings serve as a bridge to an inner universe, offering a transformative experience that encourages viewers to delve into their own perceptions and emotions.

Júnior Jacinto

Junior, an artist born in Angola, hails from Ingombotas. His journey into the world of art began with aspirations of becoming a hacker and later a personal trainer. However, at the age of 16, a significant turning point occurred when he broke his leg, leading him back to his true passion: art. Determined to become a professional painter, Junior embarked on his artistic journey with renewed focus.

At 17, faced with a lack of family support for his chosen career, Junior moved to Portugal to pursue his dreams as an Angolan painter. He attended various schools and participated in numerous workshops, which played a crucial role in shaping him into the artist he is today. His study and love of painting continue to grow day by day.

Junior's work delves into the realm of abstract visionism, aiming to convey an inner world of emotions, thoughts, and perceptions. Through the use of colors, shapes, lines, and textures, he creates a visual language that speaks directly to the soul and engages the senses. His artistic process is intuitive and spontaneous, often guided by a stream of consciousness that flows freely onto the canvas.

Deeply influenced by the world around him and his own experiences and emotions, Junior strives to create a space through his art where viewers can connect with their own inner worlds and explore their perceptions of the universe. His goal is to create art that transcends the physical and reaches the metaphysical, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of self-discovery and contemplation. By embracing the abstract and the intangible, Junior hopes to provide a unique and transformative experience for those who encounter his work.
