Akindele John

Akindele John is a figurative and metaphorical artist known for his love of painting that began and continues to grow today.

In his work, the Artist portrays movement, metaphor, character and distinction in his artwork, focusing on the feminism of African women, depicting them in moments of contemplation, surrounded by vibrant colours such as emerald, fuchsia and other tones that represent precious jewels and in the different aspects of the African diaspora, thus paying homage to their African and Nigerian indentity.

Akindele's painting is distinguished by the use of loose, playful lines and the softening effect of the brushes as well as the use of black and vibrant tones such as luminous yellow, orange, red and blue.

Akindele had her first solo exhibition in the United States, Milwaukee, with the theme - Wisconsin "And she was loved" in partnership with Genre urban Arts and hasn't stopped there.

He had the opportunity to exhibit in several places in the United States, such as Waterkolours Fine Art Gallery in Memphis, Tennessee, 5 Points Art Gallery + Studios U.S. and SvnO1 Gallery.

Akindele had his first solo exhibition in the United States, Milwaukee, Wisconsin themed 'And she was loved’ in partnership with Genre urban Arts, and woodland pattern board member. He also had a showcase at the Waterkolours Fine Art Gallery in the United States, Memphis, Tennessee. He has exhibited in the space of 5 Points Art Gallery + Studios U.S, also exhibited his beautiful art pieces in the space of SvnO1 Gallery, United States.
